I was part of a group of 6 local authors who got a few minutes each to tell a rapt audience about our works. It was said that this was the most successful event of this type that the library has had. We had a great crowd, who gave a chunk of a beautiful Saturday afternoon to hear people discuss books. Eventually, we filled the room, as people kept coming in.
